This series of works is inspired and named after The Afar Region in North-east Ethiopia, it is the hottest part of the world and has some of the most colourful landscapes on earth, where natural Neons occur within the vivid potent extreme of landscape.
This series was the start of my journey in shifting and inquiring into a new vocabulary of colour within nature.
