Beyond Addiction Application

The Beyond Addiction program supports individuals in establishing healthy thought patterns and behaviours to nourish the mind, body and spirit and manifest an inspired and fulfilling life.

The Beyond Addiction program is an internationally renowned and effective treatment for addiction that helps to build healthy, resilient individuals, families and communities.

Criteria for Acceptance Into a Beyond Addiction Program:

  1. You have had 40 consecutive days of sobriety – no recreational drugs or alcohol for a minimum of 40 days

  2. You have permanent stable housing with a fixed address

  3. You have access to a computer with high speed internet connection

  4. You have a Skype address ( is this still a requirement Beth?)

  5. If you are new to recovery (6 months or less), you are working with a social worker, counsellor or psychiatrist

  6. If you are new to recovery, you are also involved in other recovery support programs

  7. You are able to commit to 100% attendance at the Beyond Addiction program as well as to a weekly Skype or in-person group check-in for 4 months ( zoom?)

  8. You are ready to begin a regular daily yoga practice

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please note that because SAOIRSE RETREATS organising on behalf of BEYOND ADDICTION is limited to a small number of students, to allow for a more personable, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.

  • Hold deposit is non-refundable

  • Hold deposit is not transferable to another attendee

  • Full balance due 6 weeks before start date.

  • Cancellation requests submitted within 30 days of retreat date, 50% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded.

  • Within 14 days of your retreat: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions.

We understand that no one books a course with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance (see below) and that it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. 

Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early. We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance. 

We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. 

We reserve the right to cancel retreats with inadequate participant interest, in which case all money paid to SAOIRSE RETREATS will be refunded. Notification of cancellation will occur at least 6 weeks prior to the retreat start date. 

SAOIRSE RETREATS cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.
